Do not enter a Victoria College facility if you are running fever or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. If you are sick, stay home and notify your instructor or supervisor. Staying home will help you recover and help keep others from becoming ill.

Victoria College would like to remind you to continue to strengthen your personal health protection. The CDC recommendations outlined below are to protect yourself and care for others as well.

• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands.
• Stay home when you are sick, except to get medical care.

Important: Do not enter any VC facility if you show any new or worsening symptoms of COVID-19 or have had known close contact with a person who is lab confirmed to have COVID-19.

Victoria College continues to provide support to students who are affected by COVID. If you need assistance, please:

• Complete the Request for Assistance to explain any financial challenges or unmet needs such as food, transportation, childcare issues.
• Complete the  Student Technology Needs Form if you cannot complete your coursework because you are in need of a laptop, headset, webcam, or hotspot. Technology needs are to be loaned out on a first-come, first-served basis. They will be given to students in the order that forms are received.

In spring 2020, Victoria College was awarded $1,788,607 through the CARES Act Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund. In Spring 2021, the College was awarded an additional $3,850,960 through the CRRSA Act and $6,421,313 through the ARP Act. A portion of the funding provides cash grants for eligible VC students with expenses due to COVID-19 (Student Aid Portion). A portion helps defray institutional expenses related to COVID-19 (Institutional Portion).
