About VC

Victoria College has been a respected community partner in the Crossroads region since 1925 and continues to offer quality, affordable educational opportunities to help students achieve their dreams.

VC is your hometown college. Whether you are beginning your college education, transitioning into a new career, learning new skills to advance in your job, or simply seeking personal enrichment, attending VC is a smart choice.

VC works with area businesses and industry to address the region’s specific employment needs, preparing students for the careers of today and tomorrow.

Educational Options

Degrees & Certificates

Victoria College students can choose from a wide variety of associate degree and certificate programs that lead to in-demand careers, such as nursing, process technology, and firefighting. Completion of these programs leads to additional higher educational opportunities.

Transfer Programs

Students who complete their first two years of coursework at VC and then transfer to a university earn the same bachelor’s degree as students who spend all four years at a university. VC transfer students also save money by staying close to home. When you consider our low tuition and fees, our students save thousands compared to those who attend a university all four years.

Workforce Training

VC works closely with area businesses and industry to ensure that our training programs meet their specific employment needs. Our training programs will prepare you for a workforce career that will ensure your job skills are highly marketable to many of the area’s largest employers.

Continuing Education

For professionals who are already in the workforce and need to meet ongoing continuing education requirements or want to improve their job skills, VC offers a wide array of courses from the Workforce and Continuing Education Department. Additionally, VC provides a motorcycle license certification course, a number of lifelong learning classes, and many other personal enrichment courses.

High School Programs

VC offers early admission, dual credit, and other outreach programs designed to help area high school students begin earning college credit while still in high school.

GED Preparation & Adult Education

The Adult Education Center helps students improve basic skills in reading, writing, and math in order to prepare for the GED exam or college. VC also offers services for non-native speakers to learn to communicate in the English language more effectively.
