An ARMED INDIVIDUAL ON CAMPUS will be treated as a Level 3 emergency in most cases. However, anyone having positive knowledge that an armed person is present on campus should immediately call 911 to alert the police of the situation.

Be prepared to provide the following information:
1. location of the armed person
2. how the person is armed, i.e. rifle, pistol, bomb, knife
3. purpose, if known, of the armed person
4. a complete description of the individual
5. whether or not any shots have been fired
6. your name and where you can be located if police need additional information

After notifying the police, notify campus security, the President or one of the Vice Presidents.
