What is Buyback and why would I use this?

Buyback is when you sell your books back at the end of the semester or if you didn't make the FULL REFUND date.

When does Buyback start and end?

The bookstore will buy books back from you any time during the year. We don't have a start or stop period.

What do I need to sell my books back?

All you need is a picture ID (student ID or a driver's license) and your books.

How much money will I get back if I sell my books?

Not all books are able to be sold back. The bookstore will buyback books on an as needed basis. Buyback value is based on the books demand for the next semester. High demand books may bring up to half of your purchase price.Click here to receive a buyback estimate.

Why does the bookstore change the textbooks?

All course materials we sell are chosen by your professors. Your professors assign textbooks they think will best serve as a core source of information and to compliment, amplify, expand, and enrich what is presented in class. They review several options before choosing those which best fit their need and present up-to-date material to the student.

Do I have to have a receipt to sell back my books?

NO, no receipt is needed to sell back your books.

What happens if I sold the wrong book back?

It is up to you to make sure that you will not need the book for another course. Once a buyback transaction occurs, it is final.

Keep in mind that our business office may take up to 4 weeks to process a check and mail to the address you specify (not including the time it takes for you to ship/mail your package to us). The best way to sell your books back is to drive to Victoria during normal store hours. Your package must include a photo copy of your photo ID (DL, State ID card, or Student ID card), and include a note of the address you wish the check to be sent. If you do not include this information, then your buyback will not be processed.
