Departmental Exams

Departmental Exams are good only at Victoria College and cannot be used to transfer to any other college or university.

Important Information

-Please see department listed below for your exam first for scheduling information.

-$40 fee must be paid in the Payment Office (#8 on the map).

-A $15 fee to reschedule an exam prior to the end of business on the day of that exam.

-All exams are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

-A valid, current photo I.D. is required for all testing (Driver's License, Passport, Military ID, Certificate of Citizenship, Naturalization Card, Tribal ID, or a State/National/Province ID)

-Please leave all personal belongings in your vehicle. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

-Do not bring your children to the testing center. Please refer to the Victoria College Student Handbook, Article XVII, Section 19.11.

-Some test administrations may not be available during campus closures or final exam testing.

-Please contact the Testing Center in advance to confirm test date availability if you are traveling from outside Victoria County.

-For students needing Disability Support Services (not including GED, SAT or ACT), please contact our office for information and scheduling.

-All students with some knowledge of Spanish, without previous college credit in that language, are encouraged to take the test. After placing out of a course, students will, upon completion of the next sequential course with a grade of “C” or better, be given credit for previous courses in the sequence.

-The test, which lasts 2 hours, may be taken only once. Students should bring two #2 pencils, two Form 882 Scantrons, and paid receipt to the exam.
