Sports Center Guidelines

The facilities of the Sports Center are open during posted hours, at no charge to:
1. STUDENTS of The Victoria College,
2. FACULTY and STAFF of The Victoria College and UH/V,
3. SPOUSES and *Children (provided the children are FULL TIME STUDENTS) of faculty and staff of The Victoria College and UH/V.

NO OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS OR “GUESTS” OF ELIGIBLE MEMBERS MAY USE THE FACILITIES UNDER THESE GUIDELINES.

UHV STUDENTS
A fee of $50.00 per semester, paid to the VC business office, will enable a student of UH/V to use the VC Sports Center facilities during that semester of attendance. The UH/V student paying a $50.00 fee may obtain a special validation sticker on the student’s UH/V ID card by presenting a receipt of payment at the circulation desk in the VC library.

All users of the Sports Center, must provide their ID card with the current semester validation sticker to the attendant on duty, on each visit to the center. In addition, users are required to sign in and out, when using the facilities. The exception, of course, is when attending a scheduled credit class.

Physical Education credit courses and intramural sports receive first priority when scheduling usage of the Sports Center. Times are scheduled for faculty/staff activities that do not conflict with credit courses or intramurals. However, occasional special events and/or rentals may create a need to adjust all “reservations” with the exception of credit courses and intramurals.

CREDIT CLASSES, INTRAMURAL SCHEDULES, SPECIAL RESERVATIONS, AND RENTAL SCHEDULES ARE POSTED ON THE BULLETIN BOARD IN THE FOYER OF THE SPORTS CENTER.

* Children (under 16 years of age) of eligible users must be accompanied by and supervised by parents.
* Children must be 16 or older to use the equipment in the Fitness Room.

HOURS OF OPERATION For Personal Use (Fall and Spring Semesters)
Tuesday and Thursday  12:00 noon -  8:00 p.m.
Monday - Wednesday 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

(Summer Semesters)
Monday through Thursday . . . 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Friday . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
