The Victoria College Foundation implemented a grant program a decade ago to promote innovative programs and opportunities that enhance the educational experience at The Victoria College. Funds generated through the Tradition of Excellence Annual Giving Campaign are used to support the Grant Program which funds VC faculty and staff projects that have increased productivity, piloted successful College programs, updated equipment and technology, and provided innovative outreach programs to the community.

Contributions to the Faculty and Staff Grant Program are util

ized for ongoing training, initiatives and programs to ultimately give VC students a top-notch learning experience. Grants are available to Faculty and Staff for a variety of professional development opportunities, such as:

Faculty research projects
Professional conferences
Stipends for curriculum-based projects
Improving instructional practices
Increasing student learning and retention
Enhancing instructional programs
Reviewing and revising courses to meet changing workplace needs
Initiating new instructional programs responsive to students, the community and economic needs
