Future college students and parents invited to Parent Night & Open House at VC

Victoria College will host a Parent Night & Open House Tuesday, March 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the VC Student Center. Area high school students and their parents are invited to attend along with anyone who would like to learn more about VC.

Parents and future VC students can get information regarding:

·         Admissions and registration

·         Transfer programs

·         Financial aid and scholarship opportunities

·         Testing requirements

VC faculty and staff will be on hand to answer questions about various programs and areas of study available at VC including:

·         Business & technology

·         Health careers

·         Industrial trades

·         Liberal arts & sciences

·         Public service programs

·         Visual & performing arts

Participants are encouraged to take a guided campus tour and visit VC’s classrooms, state-of-the-art science and computer labs, tutoring centers, the VC/UHV Library, the Sports Center, the Fine Arts Building and the Student Center.

Future students can also get all the details about VC’s vibrant campus life, including athletic programs, student organizations, cultural activities and the wide array of student services available including the KEY Center and VC’s First Year Experience program.

An enchilada dinner will be provided on a first come, first served basis in the Student Center beginning at 6 p.m.
