VC Ceramics Club hosts visiting artist lecture

Victoria College's Ceramics Club will host Nave Museum artist Susan Budge's visiting artist lecture on Monday, May 2 from noon to 1 p.m. in the ceramics studio located in the VC Fine Arts Building, Room 113.

Budge will discuss her art in the context of her solo exhibit now on display at the Nave Museum. The public is invited to bring their lunch and hear what happens in the mind of an artist as the work is made. Attendees are encouraged to visit Budge's exhibit prior to the lecture.

The VC Ceramics Club is also hosting Budge’s two-day workshop on large-scale ceramic sculpture for VC ceramics students. 

Budge’s exhibit, “Out of the Depths” is on display until Sunday, May 15 at the Nave Museum, 306 W. Commercial Street, Victoria, Texas every Tuesday through Sunday from 1 - 5 p.m. For more information about the Nave Museum, please visit www.victoriaregionalmuseum.comor call (361) 575-8227.
