VC offers mid-term graduation scholarship to high school students

Melissa Robinson, Director of Pre-College Programs

High school students who expect to graduate this December and who intend to enroll at Victoria College after graduation are eligible to apply for VC’s Mid-Term Graduation scholarship. Completed scholarship applications should be submitted no later than Thursday, Dec. 8.

Scholarship applications may be picked up in the counselors office at any high school or from the Pre-College Programs Office in the Student Services building on campus at VC during regular business hours. In addition to a completed scholarship application, students should submit an unofficial copy of their high school transcript along with a letter of verification from their high school counselor confirming the expected graduation date. An official VC application should also be submitted along with applicable test scores such as TAKS or THEA.

“Our goal for this scholarship is to encourage mid-term graduates to apply at VC and get started on their college education right away,” said Melissa Robinson, director of pre-college programs at VC. “Even graduates who may not have a clear picture of where they want to go in the future should start at VC so we can help them identify their educational and career goals according their strengths and interests.”

For more information about the scholarship, please call VC’s Pre-College Programs Office at 361-582-2543. Please send completed applications to Victoria College, attention Melissa Robinson, 2200 E. Red River, Victoria, Texas 77901.
