VC offers Lifelong Learning classes for active seniors

Victoria College’s Workforce and Continuing Education Department will host an information session regarding its upcoming program, Lifelong Learning, on Thursday, Jan. 26 from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. in the Corporate Training Room located in the Academic Building. Lifelong Learning is an educational program for active seniors.

Seven members of Lone Star College’s established Lifelong Learning program will be present at this information session to share about their program. Lifelong Learning encourages local seniors to enjoy the benefits of a community of seniors who share common interests and provides the opportunity to participate in study, discussions and social interactions.

This information session will help provide guidance and direction for VC’s new Lifelong Learning program and those who attend may wish to volunteer to help plan and organize the upcoming program. There will also be an opportunity for seniors to ask questions of both VC and Lone Star College personnel.

For more information, please call 361-582-2528.
