High school students who expect to graduate this December and intend to enroll at Victoria College after graduation are eligible to apply for VC’s Midterm Graduation Scholarship. Completed scholarship applications should be submitted no later than Friday, Dec. 6, 2013.

Scholarship applications may be picked up from the high school counselor’s office or from the Pre-College Programs and Recruitment Office in VC’s Student Services Building, Room 109, during regular business hours. Applications are also available via the Victoria College website at VictoriaCollege.edu/OutsideScholarships.

In addition to a completed scholarship application, students should submit an unofficial copy of their high school transcript along with a letter of verification from their high school counselor confirming the expected graduation date. An official VC application should also be submitted along with applicable test scores such as TAKS, SAT, ACT, or TSI.

“Our goal for this scholarship is to encourage midterm graduates to apply at VC and get started on their college education right away,” said Melissa Robinson, director of Pre-College Programs and Recruitment at VC. “Even graduates who may not have a clear picture of where they want to go in the future should start at VC so we can help them identify their educational and career goals according to their strengths and interests.”

For more information about the scholarship, call VC’s Pre-College Programs and Recruitment Office at (361) 485-6823. Completed applications should be sent to Victoria College, attention Melissa Robinson, 2200 E. Red River Street, Victoria, Texas 77901.
