Charitable trust donates $5,000 to VC Foundation

The Albert & Mary Dick Charitable Trust recently awarded the Victoria College Foundation a $5,000 grant. “To attract students to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) careers, we must engage students at an early age,” said Sherri Pall, VC Workforce & Continuing Education director. “We are very appreciative of this grant, which will allow Victoria College to operate a summer camp with STEM-related activities and provide scholarship opportunities for 120 disadvantaged youth while at the same time providing parents a safe and educational environment for their children during the summer.” Pictured are, from left, Amy Mundy, Victoria College Foundation executive director; Pall; Dr. Tom Butler, VC president; Jennifer Henry and  Ronnie Hyak, of the Albert & Mary Dick Trust; Gary Worsham, Wells Fargo senior vice president & senior fiduciary advisory specialist; and Jennifer Yancey, VC vice president of College Advancement & External Affairs.
