Jobs, careers seek out students at Victoria College Career Fair

Instead of pounding the pavement or searching for jobs online, Victoria College students can have the jobs come to them during the 2014 Victoria College Career Fair on March 26-27. More than 30 businesses and agencies will be represented at the Career Fair from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the VC Student Center.

The annual Career Fair is offered for students pursuing careers in public service, business and technology, health professions, and industrial trades, among others.

At the event, businesses will have access to valuable face-to-face opportunities to recruit qualified, active job-seekers. The Victoria public and surrounding communities are invited to attend as well.

“Victoria College students are eager for the chance to explore various careers and learn more about the participating organizations,” said Lisa Elsik, academic advisor with VC’s Advising & Counseling Services.

Victoria College will also have a booth to share information about VC programs leading to in-demand careers for the Crossroads region.
