Elizabeth Garza, Call Center coordinator, and Rhonda Dumas, Lone Star College System Call Center director, presented “Call Centers Answer the Call for Great Customer Service!” Garza and Dumas discussed reasons for their colleges’ call center creation, its implementation and the continuous development to provide an awesome customer service experience.

The 2014 TACCM conference, with the theme of “Connecting the Dots – Developing Opportunities for Teamwork and Success,” was held in the Omni Austin Southpark Hotel. More than 120 professional from over 40 community colleges across Texas attended the event.

“In its second year, the TACCM Conference has become a great venue for bringing college marketers together to collaborate, network and exchange ideas,” said Kazmir. “The VC team enjoyed collaborating with other marketing professionals from around the state to plan this year’s conference and share examples of effective collaborations at Victoria College.”

Concurrent breakout sessions were divided into four tracks with topics specific to the areas of Marketing & Recruiting, Web & Social Media, PR & Media Relations and Advertising & Design.
