Lorrie Morgan signs on to Victoria’s 2015 Charity Concert Series

Lorrie Morgan

International entertainer Lorrie Morgan will perform on Nov. 5 as part of the 2015 Charity Concert Series at the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets, which are $50 apiece, go on sale Monday, June 1.

A singer, songwriter, worldwide entertainer on the performing and theatrical stage, a producer, duet partner, wife, mother and, now, a grandmother, Lorrie Morgan has sold over six million records and has a trophy room adorned with reminders of gold and platinum successes (including 14 top-ten hits, 12 recorded albums and four Female Vocalist of the Year awards). Her duet partners have included the likes of Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis, Andy Williams and The Beach Boys. She’s performed on Broadway and abroad. Morgan’s hits include “Five Minutes,” “Something in Red,” “Watch Me” and “What Part of No.”

In 2015, the Charity Concert Series has presented two sold-out performances by country legends Johnny Rodriguez and Gene Watson. The third regular season performance in the series is scheduled for Aug. 13 with Gary P. Nunn, an icon of Lone Star music.

The series benefits Bluebonnet Youth Ranch, the Victoria Lions Club, and the Welder Center.

Tickets for Gary P. Nunn are available now for $30 at the Welder Center Box Office.

Tickets for all performances are limited, so concert-goers are encouraged to purchase tickets early.
