Five VC students earn Basic Peace Officer Certification

Five students recently graduated from Victoria College’s Law Enforcement Academy, earning their Basic Peace Officer Certification. Adam Trevino was named class valedictorian and Noah Watson earned the John F. Baylor Award, which is given to the outstanding student in the class. The students passed the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement exam as part of their training. They also participated in driving exercises designed to improve pursuit skills, firing range shooting drills, search and seizure activities, and intense physical fitness training. The fall semester class begins Aug. 10 and will graduate on Dec. 17.
