Rawley McCoy & Associates donates $15,000 for VC endowed scholarship

Rawley McCoy & Associates (RMA), a Victoria architecture firm, recently donated $15,000 to the Victoria College Foundation to create the RMA Architects and Interior Designers Endowed Scholarship.

“My firm, and myself in particular, has been working continuously with Victoria College for 30 years,” Rawley McCoy said. “I’ve been involved in every major construction project on this campus for 30 years. My partner, William Berger, and I decided that, in honor of that service, we wanted to create this endowed scholarship. In the spirit of giving, we hope it helps young men and women to continue their education.”

Jennifer Yancey, VC vice president of college advancement and external affairs, recognized Rawley McCoy & Associates as instrumental in helping Victoria College meet student, community and business and industry needs for three decades.

“Through their professionalism, expertise and commitment, our campuses are designed and equipped to provide higher education opportunities and skills training for thousands of students each year,” Yancey said. “With the generous establishment of an endowed scholarship to assist our students, this commitment will continue in perpetuity. For their dedication to higher education and training in our region, we are truly grateful to Rawley McCoy & Associates, and we look forward to continuing the partnership and friendship.”
