“Golden Faisan” by VC art student Erica Estrada is one of many pieces on display in the VC Fine Arts Gallery this fall.

Victoria College’s Fine Arts Department will open its Fall Student Art Show with a reception from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12 in the VC Fine Arts Building.

Paintings, drawings, ceramics and collages created by VC art students will be displayed from noon-5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, Nov. 12-Dec. 4 in the gallery of the Fine Arts Building. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

“The amazing work that the students at Victoria College produce is a reflection of their dedication and passion,” said Cathleen Gordon, VC art instructor. “We would love for everyone to get a chance to come and enjoy their art first hand.”

The Fine Arts Building is on VC’s Main Campus and faces Red River Street between the main entrance and entrance 6. The gallery is on the opposite side of the building from Red River Street, facing the Student Center.
