VC Adult Education registration underway in Yoakum, Cuero

The Adult Basic Education program at Victoria College will hold student orientations in Cuero and Yoakum in February. Students interested in earning a GED or completing English as a Second Language classes are encouraged to attend one of the scheduled orientations.

Students in the Cuero area can attend an orientation at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at the First Presbyterian Church, 302 McLeod St.

Students in the Yoakum area can attend an orientation at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Parish Family Center, 401 Orth St.

“Not only can residents work toward their GED, they are also presented with opportunities to carry on their education at Victoria College through Workforce & Continuing Education classes,” said Sharon Vaclavik, VC Gonzales Center adult education coordinator. “Our Adult Basic Education classes are just the first step toward a successful future.”
