VC’s “What’s Your Story?” scholarship contest open for entries
2015 "What's Your Story?" Scholarship Recipients

Four Victoria College students will have the opportunity to win $1,000 scholarships by explaining how VC has impacted them on their path to success in either an essay or video. Winners will also be featured in the College’s marketing materials.

Essay and video submissions are due Friday, April 8.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to earn money toward their educational goals,” said Susan Prukop, development director. “With the deadline a couple of months away, students have ample time to complete either a 500- to 700-word essay or a 2- to 3-minute video.”

Students can submit entries in one of three categories:

  • Associate of Applied Science Degrees and Certificates
  • Associate of Arts / Associate of Science / Academic Transfer
  • Adult Education

“The Victoria College Foundation is happy to provide the funding for these scholarships,” said Amy Mundy, executive director of the VC Foundation. “It is such a pleasure to hear the success stories of our students. We look forward to reviewing the 2016 entries.”

Winners will be announced in April and will share their stories at a Donor Appreciation Breakfast in August.
