Crossroads Strings to host March concert

Victoria College and the Victoria Symphony Society will present its Crossroads Strings March concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 7 at the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts, 214 N. Main St. in historic downtown Victoria. The concert is free and open to the public.

Crossroads Strings is compiled of musicians from the greater Crossroads community, local high schools and Victoria College. It is an orchestra for adults and advanced young string players.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to showcase the talent of local musicians once again,” said David Platt, the group’s music director and instructor. “I encourage the community to come out and enjoy the concert.”

Concert attendees will hear a variety of string orchestra music.
