Victoria College will host Pirate Preview Day from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, March 8 in the Johnson Symposium located in VC’s Allied Health Building. Attendees will get an in-depth look at the programs and services VC offers.

Students will have the opportunity to tour the campus and learn about scholarships, financial aid, campus life and student services. Those who have not decided on a career path will also learn about pathways leading to academic transfer, associate degrees, certificates and industry-recognized credentials.

The event is free, and lunch will be provided.

“Many high schools in the area allow their juniors and seniors to visit a college as an excused absence,” said Sabrina Romo, coordinator of Pre-College Programs & Recruitment. “We encourage students who are thinking about attending Victoria College to ask their counselor about attending a Pirate Preview Day.”

The deadline to sign up for Tuesday’s event has been extended until 5 p.m. Monday.

A second Pirate Preview Day will be offered Thursday, April 14, with an April 8 signup deadline.

To sign up to attend Pirate Preview Day, contact Pre-College Programs & Recruitment at (361) 485-6823 or email PreCollegePrograms@VictoriaCollege.edu.
