Spring Artisans' Market
These crafts are a sampling of what shoppers can expect at the May 4 Spring Artisansí Market at the Museum of the Coastal Bend.

Handcrafted, one-of-a-kind spring décor and Mother’s Day gift items made by regional artists and artisans will be featured in the Spring Artisans’ Market at the Museum of the Coastal Bend. The market will be held 2-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 4.

Admission to the Artisans’ Market is free and open to the public. Artisans donate a portion of their sales from the market to benefit the museum.

Thirteen artisans are participating in the market.

Shoppers can purchase handmade soaps and lotions; one-of-a-kind jewelry; turned wood bowls and fine wood pens; spring décor crafted from textiles, stained glass, and other unique materials; fabric wine bags; forged metal sculptures; native wood golf putters; Devereux spring plants; baked goods; Vela Farms jam and jellies; and floral bouquets and toppers crafted from paper.

HEB Plus will be on hand with holiday home demonstrations and samples, and participants can taste the latest brews from Goliad Brewing Company. Refreshments will be served at the market.

The Museum of the Coastal Bend is located on Victoria College’s Main Campus at the corner of Ben Jordan and East Red River St.
