VC Foundation receives $100,000 grant from AEP Foundation

The Victoria College Foundation was recently awarded a $100,000 grant from the American Electric Power Foundation.

American Electric Power Foundation recently awarded the Victoria College Foundation a $100,000 grant to help with equipment and program funds for industrial trade careers. AEP was recognized for its  dedication and contribution to higher education with the newly named AEP Texas Reception Area located on the first floor of the Conference and Education Center at VC's Emerging Technology Complex.  

New training programs in high-demand occupations have been developed and are being offered at the Emerging Technology Complex. Opportunities for customized training for existing business and industry are also available. For information, call Emerging Technology Complex Manager Tempi McLeod at (361) 582-2449.
