Seventy-five youngsters ranging from 5 to 12 years old participated in Victoria College’s Kids College on June 20-23 at the Emerging Technology Complex.

Four different LEGO camps were offered along with camps on survival tactics, fashion design and creative expressions. Also offered was a video design camp that was held June 20-30.

“The Kids College camps were a great success again this year,” said Mary Pullin, program specialist for Victoria College. “It was exciting to see the students challenged in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)-related activities while having fun.”

Pullin said plans are already being made for the 2017 Kids College.

“We are looking at enhancing the LEGO camps for next summer and researching new camps as well.”  Pullin said.
