Public Information Requests

The Texas Public Information Act gives the public the right to request access to government records. All public information requests should be for records or information already in existence. Victoria College is not required to create new information, perform legal research, answer questions, or comply with a continuing request to supply information on a periodic basis as such information prepared in the future.

All requests for public information must be in writing and can be mailed or emailed to:

Please be sure to include enough detail about the information requested to enable Victoria College to accurately identify and locate the information requested.

Student Directory Information Requests

In accordance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act and the Texas Public Information Act, Victoria College provides requestors with student directory information – information contained in an education record of a student that would not generally be considered harmful or an invasion of privacy if disclosed – without the student’s prior consent.

All requests for student directory information must be submitted using the Student Directory Information Request form. A fee of $100 per request must be paid before the information will be released. Additional fees may be required.
