VC trustees appoint two to museum advisory board

Brigid Berger and Bill Harvey were unanimously appointed to the Museum of the Coastal Bend’s Advisory Board by the Victoria College Board of Trustees at Monday’s regular meeting.

Berger, a Dubuque, Iowa native, is a certified Texas Master Naturalist, website editor and event coordinator for San Antonio Bay Partnership. She acquired her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Iowa and moved to Houston where she worked 30 years at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System.

Harvey, a native of Fort Worth, served in the U.S. Navy from 1971-77 and achieved the rank of Hospital Corpsman First Class. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and master’s degree in public affairs from the University of Texas. Harvey was employed by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department as a biologist and administrator from 1984-2004 and currently works at Formosa Plastics as Texas Communications Director.
