Students can learn of educational opportunities at VC Info Night

Current and prospective students can learn about Victoria College’s education, training, student support and cultural enrichment offerings during VC Info Night from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 at VC’s Health Sciences Center.

“This event offers high school students, their parents, adult learners and current VC students the opportunity to get more information about VC’s programs and services – all in one location,” said VC Director of Marketing and Communications Darin Kazmir.

Faculty will share information and answer questions about VC’s transfer pathways and programs leading to high-demand careers, and one-on-one assistance with the Apply Texas admissions application will be available.

Financial aid staff will also be on hand to help attendees complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the online application used to determine financial aid eligibility for grants, loans and many scholarships. To complete the FAFSA, students will need their Social Security number and alien registration card (if applicable), 2015 and 2016 tax returns, or other documentation of income.

Attendees can also attend Q&A sessions about programs leading to health careers at 5, 5:30 and 6 p.m. All sessions will include information on admissions requirements for VC’s Nurse Aide, Vocational Nursing, Associate Degree Nursing, Respiratory Care programs.

Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be awarded.
