Top high school basketball players to compete in VCs Chick-fil-A Boys All-Star Game

Twenty of the top high school basketball players in the Crossroads area will participate in Victoria College’s Seventh Annual Chick-fil-A Boys All-Star Game at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19 at VC’s Sports Center.

Among the players chosen to participate are Victoria West’s Tavius Ogden, Kenyan Black and Kasey Kahlich; Victoria East’s Tre Wolf, Jamir Whitelow and Anthony Means; Victoria St. Joseph’s William Proctor, Gary Villarreal and Fred Proctor; and Victoria Faith Academy’s Devin Broom.

Other players selected to play are Calhoun’s Vincent Delgado, Yorktown’s Wyatt Koricanek, Industrial’s Kyle Alexander and Mason Mariagga, Hallettsville’s Kraegan Matula, Nordheim’s Demarkeous Anderson, Bloomington’s Demarcus Bryant, Ganado’s Matt Bridges, Flatonia’s Matthew Rowell and Goliad’s Dylan Williams.

“It is always an honor for Victoria College to showcase the best high school boys basketball players in our area,” VC Sports Center Coordinator Josh Moore said. “We thank Chick-fil-A for sponsoring this event and giving the opportunity for the athletes to celebrate their successful seasons and get the exposure they deserve.”

Tickets for the game will be $5 for adults and $2 for students.
