VC honors 19 PTA graduates at pinning ceremony

Sarah Condra, center, received the Leadership Award during the May 12 pinning ceremony of the Victoria College Physical Therapist Assistant graduates at VCs Johnson Symposium.

Nineteen Victoria College Physical Therapist Assistant students were honored at a pinning ceremony on May 12 at VC’s Johnson Symposium.

Sarah Condra received the Leadership Award. Shanice Malone and Christen Werland shared the Most Inspirational Student Award.

Other graduates who received their pins were Angel Celedon, Victoria Davila, Deidrich Dutchover, Rosa Flores, Ryan Hernandez, Blair Knezek, Christina Luna, Walter McClung, Briana Pavlicek, Mary Ann Perez, Mitzi Ramos, Lesley Seidenberger, Scott Sommerlatte, Monica Tovar, Sarah Tucker and Samantha Ysaguirre.

Karen Gordon, member of the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners, was the speaker.

VC’s Physical Therapist Assistant Program offers a two-year Associate of Applied Science degree. Successful completion of the program will enable graduates to take the National Physical Therapist Assistant Licensing Examination.
