Victoria College has been awarded another grant to support students who were affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Grant funds are available to be used to assist students with tuition, books, and supplies. Students can apply for the funds by clicking here. The application must be submitted to the Victoria College Foundation by Tuesday, Feb. 6.
“Although the storm passed, the aftermath is still ongoing for some within our community,” said Bobby Cubriel, director of VC’s Advising & Counseling Services. “We have heard from students who have had to make tough choices like deciding whether to repair their homes and vehicles, purchase food and supplies, or pay tuition and fees.”
VC has partnered with the University of Houston-Victoria to provide food and personal hygiene supplies to students through the JP Food Pantry. Students still needing such support can visit the Advising & Counseling office for assistance.
