Victoria College middle blocker Kadi Elledge signed a transfer agreement to play volleyball for Schreiner University on Thursday at the Sports Center.

The 6-foot-1 Elledge, a former standout at Edna High School, is averaging 11.0 kills, 5.4 blocks and 1.2 aces per match for the Pirates, who compete in the Texas Collegiate Club Sports League.

“I am very happy to be able to continue playing volleyball,” said Elledge, who will major in sports management at Schreiner. “I have been a student-athlete since junior high, so I don’t think I would know how to be just a student. It would be weird not being to be in sports.”

Schreiner, an NCAA Division III school in Kerrville, competes in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
