Humble’s Brycen Thomas recently signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Victoria College.
The Victoria College Pirates continued to fill their roster for the upcoming National Junior College Athletic Association season by signing Humble’s Brycen Thomas to a letter of intent recently.
Thomas, a 6-foot-1 guard, averaged 10 points and three assists per game while helping Humble compile a 24-13 record last season.
“It’s always been my dream to play college basketball,” Thomas said. “I want to go beyond college basketball and play in the pros someday.”
Thomas, who was named to the All-District 21-5A team last year, impressed VC coaches enough during a tryout to earn a spot on the team.
“I’m excited and ready to compete,” Thomas said. “I’m hoping to earn a starting spot.”
