The Crossroads Community Band, in collaboration with Crossroads Strings, will host a concert, “Lights, Camera, Music! A Musical Tribute to Cinema,” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, at Victoria College’s Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts.
The free event will showcase members of the Crossroads Community Band and Crossroads Strings as they perform a selection of music featuring songs from the movies Star Wars, Harry Potter and others.
VC students who perform in the Crossroads Community Band or Crossroads Strings are able to earn college credit.
The Welder Center is located at 214 N Main St. in downtown Victoria.
