Pirate Orientation

Welcome to Victoria College!

Pirate Orientation is designed to transition you into college life and help you become a successful student and graduate. All incoming freshmen are required to participate in Pirate Orientation prior to registering for courses. New freshmen students will register for classes on the day they attend Pirate Orientation. New freshmen who do not attend Pirate Orientation will have a hold placed on their account blocking course registration.

What You'll Need to Do Before You Sign Up

  1. Complete a Victoria College application for admission at ApplyTexas.org.
  2. Submit official copies of high school transcripts, test scores, and immunization records to VC's Welcome Center.
  3. Know your Pirate Portal username (student ID or V#) and password. To verify your V#:
- Log on the Pirate Portal.
- Click the "Registration" folder. (for mobile devices, skip this step)
- Click the "Registration Status" link.
- Your V# is on the right next to your name.
