Victoria College’s Workforce & Continuing Education Department offers courses that can get you started in a career as a real estate sales agent or broker. Successful completion will enable you to apply for a Real Estate Salesperson License with the state of Texas.
If you’re already working as a real estate professional, VC also offers the required continuing education for real estate sales agents.
In addition to proof of U.S. citizenship (or legal alien status) and a minimum age of 18 years or older, the state of Texas requires evidence of successful completion of real estate education in order to apply for a Real Estate Salesperson License.

- Principles of real estate
- Law of agency
- Law of contracts
- Property management
- Real estate brokerage
- Investments or marketing
