Strategic Planning at The Victoria College 

Dr. Butler formed the Strategic Planning Committee in January 2009 to lead the strategic planning process for The Victoria College. The committee began its work by developing the Mission and Values Statements for the College.

In April, Dr. Butler organized town hall-style meetings at which facilitator Roy Bond helped VC faculty and staff explore the College’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Approximately 50 students participated in a similar session where students were given the opportunity to voice their opinions.

The Strategic Planning Committee used the information gathered from the strategic planning sessions, along with responses from an online PACE survey, to develop strategic directions for the College.

The Victoria College Board of Trustees approved the Strategic Plan on Monday, August 31. The plan will be implemented over the next three to five years, beginning September 1, 2009.
