TexPREP is a mathematics-based, academic enrichment program that emphasizes the development of abstract reasoning and problem solving skills and helps junior high students prepare for careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The program is presented over the course of four summers and includes coursework, team projects, class presentations, examinations, career awareness speakers, field trips, and special events. Elective credits may be earned upon successful completion to apply to a student’s high school credits.
