All KEY Center members must complete at least 4 hours of
tutoring each semester.
Students can visit any of the VC
Tutoring Centers located around the campus for quick walk-in group tutoring in
a variety of subjects. Research
indicates that group tutoring has significant benefits for student involvement
and success. With this in mind, tutors are
also available for walk-in assistance at the KEY Center and at all tutoring
centers throughout the Victoria College campus:

Tutoring Procedures
•
Log-in to TutorTrac at the computer station
provided in each tutoring center prior to beginning your tutoring session (and
log-out when you leave) to receive credit for tutoring hours.
•
KEY Center members may also schedule individual 60-minute
appointments based on available tutors.
These appointments MUST be scheduled with the KEY Center Support
Specialist at least 2 hours IN ADVANCE of requested time. Appointment requests are subject to
availability of tutors. Click here to make an individual tutoring appointment through the KEY Center.
•
If you are unable to attend a scheduled
appointment, you MUST contact the KEY Center at least one hour PRIOR to your
scheduled appointment.
•
Should you miss a scheduled tutoring appointment
more than twice during a semester you will forfeit the right to set
individual appointments for the remainder of the semester although walk-in
group tutoring will still be available to you.
•
All tutoring appointments (group or individual)
will be documented by the KEY Center and your efforts communicated with your
course instructor.
