VC introduces new online course: Introduction to Camtasia Studio 8

Through a partnership with ed2go, Victoria College’s Workforce & Continuing Education Department offers hundreds of online, instructor-led courses and announces the new course “Introduction to Camtasia Studio 8.”

Participants in this course will discover how to create professional-level videos using Camtasia’s suite of powerful, easy-to-use tools. They’ll learn to capture on-screen desktop action, customize and edit that content in the Camtasia Editor, and then export the finished production to virtually any type of device.

This course is part of VC’s growing inventory of more than 300 instructor-facilitated noncredit online courses. Through well-crafted lessons, expert online instruction and interaction with fellow students, participants in these courses gain valuable knowledge at their convenience. They have the flexibility to study at their own pace combined with enough structure and support to complete the course, and they can access the classroom continuously from anywhere with an Internet connection.

New sessions of each course run every month. The courses last six weeks, with two new lessons being released weekly for a total of 12. The courses are entirely Web-based with comprehensive lessons, quizzes and assignments. A dedicated professional instructor facilitates every course, pacing learners, answering questions, giving feedback and facilitating discussions.
