Wood Family Trust gives $75,000 to VCs Emerging Technology Complex

The Wood Family Trust, Prosperity Bank Trustee, of Victoria  has made a $75,000 pledge to Victoria College’s Emerging Technology Complex.

“The Wood Family has always supported Victoria College,” said Rob Angerstein, trust officer for the Wood Family Trust. “I think this will be a very good addition for the community and for Victoria College. It will meet a real need for our community’s educational purposes. The Wood family is very happy to support this.”

The tiered classroom on the second floor of the Conference & Education Center will be named in the Wood Family’s honor.

"We are very excited to be recipients of the Wood Family’s benevolence and support,” said Jennifer Yancey, VC vice president of college advancement and external affairs. “This generous pledge will go a long way to further the education of Crossroads-area residents and improve the quality of life in our community.”

The Emerging Technology Complex, composed of the Industrial Training Center and the Conference & Education Center, is expected to be fully operational this summer.
