Grants Development

The Grants Development Office (GDO) is a College department under College Advancement that serves all College departments and personnel. GDO is the initial point of contact for vetting funding proposals to external sponsors. Internal grants to employees ("Faculty & Staff Grants") are applied for and administered separately through the Victoria College Foundation. Students interested in grants for their studies should visit our Financial Aid Grants page.

The Grants Development Director is responsible for

  • Identifying sponsors and funding opportunities that meet College needs;
  • Developing and submitting proposals to federal, state, and local sponsors;
  • Facilitating the contract negotiation process and liaising with sponsors; and
  • Maintaining procedures and offering training about grants and contracts.
