VC Night at the Ballpark and High Hill Distillery coming soon
Victoria College continues its centennial celebration this June with two public events designed to engage the community and commemorate VC’s 100th anniversary.
The public is invited to VC Night at High Hill Distillery in Hallettsville on Saturday, June 14. The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at High Hill Distillery, located at 2997 County Road 122. Guests will enjoy live music from Mark Zepeda and Victoria College employee Sarah Patek, as well as specialty cocktails featuring High Hill’s signature black label rum.
Attendees will have the opportunity to visit the VC tent for snacks, participate in distillery tours at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m., and enter prize drawings for VC centennial merchandise, including a limited-edition commemorative bottle of High Hill rum.
Event tickets are $11 per person, which includes snacks and access to all scheduled activities. Tickets may be purchased in advance, with a limited number available at the event.
On Tuesday, June 24, VC will host the 16th annual VC Night at the Ballpark at Riverside Stadium in Victoria. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m. The event will feature complimentary food, games, giveaways and photo opportunities with Victoria College mascot Captain Vic.
Free tickets for the Victoria Generals baseball game are available at the following locations: Victoria College’s Welcome Center, Emerging Technology Complex, Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts, the Museum of the Coastal Bend and the VC Library Building (Student Life Office).
