Victoria College will host acclaimed author and visionary entrepreneur Roy Juarez Jr. as the Fall 2025 Lyceum Speaker at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at the VC Sports Center.

In his acclaimed memoir, Juarez chronicles fleeing domestic violence and surviving homelessness as a teenager on the streets of San Antonio. Determined to change his path, Juarez eventually overcame his hardships to become a high school and college graduate.

Driven by a powerful mission to inspire others, he voluntarily re-entered homelessness to face his past and shed light on the hidden struggles of America’s youth. Juarez’s memoir has been used as a model for trauma-informed leadership in classrooms and professional development programs nationwide.

His work has reached over one million students, educators, and leaders across 49 US states and seven countries. Juarez is also the founder and CEO of IMPACTtruth, Inc. and Dreams Inked Publishing.

The lecture is free and open to the public.  For more information, visit VictoriaCollege.edu/Lyceum.
