Venue change sends ‘Godspell’ production to VC’s Johnson Symposium

Godspell production logo on a brick background 'Godspell' performances will take place Sept. 18-21.

Theatre Victoria’s upcoming production of “Godspell” will now take the stage at Victoria College’s newly renovated Johnson Symposium. Performances will still be held as planned Sept. 18–21. The move stems from unavoidable lighting system repairs at VC’s Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts.

Previously purchased tickets are being automatically transferred to a comparable seat at the Johnson Symposium for the same date and time as originally purchased. Patrons will receive an email with new ticket information from the ticketing service provider Etix.

Tickets are $21 each plus fees and can be purchased at WelderCenter.org. Discounts are available for seniors, military, students and children. Please call the box office at (361) 570-8587 with questions or concerns.

VC’s Johnson Symposium recently underwent a complete renovation and now features state-of-the-art lighting and new audience seating. “Godspell” will be the first large public performance held at the renovated facility.

Johnson Symposium is located at the Main Entrance on the Victoria College Main Campus, 2200 E. Red River St. Visit VictoriaCollege.edu/MainCampus for more information on parking.
