Marinda Navarro
Every story has a first chapter. For Marinda Navarro, the first chapter in her career began at Victoria College.
Navarro began her academic journey at VC in 2019, completing her basics before being accepted into VC’s Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program on her first attempt in 2020.
After long hours spent studying and preparing, she graduated in May 2022 and went on to pass her board exams and become a licensed physical therapist assistant later that summer.
In May, Navarro returned to VC as an adjunct instructor in the PTA Program, proudly teaching students who are now following the same path she once took.
“Thank you, VC, for helping me get where I am today,” said Navarro. “The PTA instructors helped me and encouraged me along the way. They were always there for us when we needed the extra push. Three years in and I love my job working with patients and students.”
