The public is invited to Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Info Night at Victoria College on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 230 of the Health Sciences Center.
During the session, attendees will learn about the physical therapist assistant profession, admission requirements, curriculum updates, tuition and fees, and available financial aid opportunities.
VC’s PTA Program offers a two-year Associate of Applied Science degree that prepares graduates for careers working under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. PTAs help patients regain movement and independence following illness or injury. Career opportunities are available in hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, sports facilities, nursing homes, and other healthcare settings.
Prospective students, parents, and community members are encouraged to attend and learn more about how to get started in this growing healthcare field.
