Approximately 280 students are expected to participate in Victoria College’s annual commencement exercises at 9 a.m. and noon on Saturday, May 16, at the Victoria Fine Arts Center.
Tickets are required for each ceremony. Graduates with Allied Health, Public Service, Business, or Computer degrees will graduate at 9 a.m. and will be allotted 11 tickets. Graduates with Associate or Arts, Associate of Science, or Industrial Trades degrees will graduate at noon and can reserve seven tickets.
The invocation at the 9 a.m. ceremony will be led by Keirah Lauer, who will deliver the invocation in English, and Brandy Aldana, who will deliver it in Spanish. The student commencement speaker is Melanie Zavala. At noon, the invocation will be delivered by Misty Garrett Lee, and the commencement speaker will be Ryan Tyler Salinas.
