Class of 2026 Adult Education graduates
Victoria College recognized 29 Adult Education graduates for earning their GEDs during the 2025-26 school year. Sixteen of those graduates walked the stage during a special ceremony held Saturday, July 11, at VC’s Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts.
GED graduate Mylinda Johnson was the ceremony’s guest speaker, and Mary Tredway was recognized as the Adult Education Scholarship recipient.
Graduates include Michael Andrade, Vivian Avelar, Ariel Baladez, Melissa Bustamante, Kadaviarya Durham, Aaron Egloff, Lindsay Farmer, Elina Flores, Jeremy Garcia, Alyssa Gonzales, Mylinda Johnson, R’gina Jourdan, Brecken Karl, Haily Lara, Eusebio Medrano, Marissa Ohlinger, Jesse Ortega, Alyssa Ortiz, Markus Perez, Nathan Reid, Hailey Rodriguez, Linda Rodriguez, Lacienga Saldana, Jorge Soliz, Karisma Thach, Timothy Thompson, Mary Tredway, Jesse Villegas, and Jessica Ybarra.
Adult Basic Education courses at Victoria College cover basic academic subjects to help adult students improve their skills in preparation to take the GED and reach a college-ready level. Obtaining a GED and enhancing basic skills help ensure working adults can remain in the workforce and improve individual earning potential.
